Accurately assess prostate to identify any abnormalities prior to invasive biopsy.

Allows targeting of abnormalities rather then traditional blind random TRUS biopsy

Potentially avoid invasive biopsy if no abnormalities found and other tests do not highlight risk.

Requires expert specialist radiologists and an integrated team to ensure correctly utilised.
